The Big Kahuna


Our latest addition to our ultrasound diagnostic capabilities is the state of art General Electric L5.  Behold the "Big Kahuna."  This machine maximizes our ability to perform echocardiograms and abdominal ultrasounds.  Enhanced with colorflow doppler to visualize veins and arteries, the L5 enables your doctors to see internal organs without discomfort to your pet. 

Aloha Animal Hospital has added a new on-line feature to allow you to fill your prescriptions on-line.  There are many drugs that are unavailable through conventional pharmacies as well as specially compounded (formulated) to suit the needs of your pet.  Vetcentric allows this access.  Use the following link to get your prescriptions.

Additionally, Aloha Animal Hospital has acquired a 2mm flexible endoscope which allows visualization into the small areas of the body.  This is especially usefull in small dogs with little noses and the foxtails that go in there.  Adding to our existing 9mm flexible endoscope used for looking down the esophagus, the stomach, and duodenum (small intestine), and ear videoscope technology, the 2mm endoscope has allowed your veterinarian to diagnose problems unaccessible in the past.  This is a view of the soft and hard palate (the nasopahrynx) in a dog.

Digital Dental Imaging

We now have digital dental radiography!  Keeping up with technology, we acquired a state of the art imaging system for assessing dental disease in your pet.  This modality enables quick imaging of jaw lines and tooth roots with ability to show you in a clear manner.
